How it works: We start by getting clear on how you live, what you love, and what your budget looks like. I handle everything from there — sourcing, coordinating delivery, and styling on installation day.

Getting ready to list? You want your home to look its best for photos, inspections, and open houses — without buying new furniture or renovating. I come in, see your space with fresh eyes, and make it feel warm, spacious, and irresistible.
I work with what you already have: edit, rearrange, and style your pieces so the home feels intentional and inviting. If needed, I add soft furnishings and small accessories (white bedding, cushions, throws, vases) to lift the look for photos.

  • Declutter advice — what to pack away and what to keep out
  • Furniture layout tweaks to open up the space
  • Styling of existing items — art, décor, and accessories placed with purpose
  • Extra soft furnishings & props for photo day
  • On-site styling on shoot day so every room is camera-ready
How it works: We start with a walkthrough — in person or virtual — to see your home and your timeline. I create a styling plan, we confirm details, and I style your rooms before the photo shoot. On shoot day everything is ready. After the photos, I help reset the home so it stays appealing for inspections and open houses.
You get a home that photographs like a magazine, feels welcoming at inspections, and makes buyers think, “I want to live here.”

Hi, I’m Emily — designer, founder, and the person behind The Abode Edit.

Based in Brisbane, I work with clients across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and select projects in the Southern Highlands.

With over five years of experience and a Diploma in Interior Design, I bring a considered, detail-led approach to every project.

I specialise in residential interiors — guiding clients through builds, renovations, and refreshes with clarity and confidence. Whether you’re starting from scratch or simply want your home to feel more like you, I tailor every project to your lifestyle and aesthetic.

01 Discovery Call

We start with a free 20-minute call to talk through your space, your vision, and what you’re hoping to achieve. This is a no-obligation chat — just a chance to get to know each other and see if we’re the right fit.

02 Site Visit & Concept

I’ll visit your home (or work from photos and measurements for interstate clients) to understand the space in detail. From here, I develop a design concept — pulling together colour palettes, mood boards, and initial ideas tailored to your brief.

03 Design Presentation

I present your personalised design direction — including selections, layouts, and visuals. You’ll have the chance to review, ask questions, and refine before anything is finalised. No decisions are rushed.

04 Sourcing & Procurement

Once the design is approved, I handle all the sourcing — liaising with suppliers, managing orders, and coordinating deliveries. You have access to my trade accounts, which means better quality and pricing than you’d find on the high street.

05 Installation & Styling

The final step is the most rewarding. I oversee or manage the installation, then style the space from top to bottom — so you come home to a finished result that feels completely curated and unmistakably yours.

Interior Decoration and Home Styling packages are priced on a per-project basis, while Interior Design Selections is charged at an hourly or half-day rate.
